I’m Dr. Mohammad Salman, Vice President at Skygrow Seeds Private Limited.
With over 12 years of experience in supply chain management and a strong academic foundation — an M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. in Seed Science and Technology — I am proud to be part of an organization that is deeply committed to empowering farmers with cutting-edge, high-quality seeds.
At Skygrow, we are driven by one mission: to revolutionize Indian agriculture by bridging scientific innovation with field-level impact. My journey has involved working closely with several leading Indian and multinational seed companies, where I led initiatives in plant breeding, molecular breeding, seed production, and tissue culture. This hands-on research experience has enabled us to develop superior, disease-resistant, and antioxidant-rich crop varieties, especially in rice and wheat.
Our seeds are tested, reliable, and tailored to diverse climatic and soil conditions, ensuring that farmers get healthy crops with higher yields. We understand the evolving challenges of agriculture and continuously work to innovate and provide solutions that make farming more productive and sustainable.
I am honored to have received recognitions such as the Young Scientist Award and Young Professional Award, and to have contributed to several national and international journals and books on seed science and crop improvement.
